Newly paired up birds Excellent offspring due new year

Its mid November and these 2 excellent birds have just paired up. The male (on the right) has a good % of Exhibition strain in him and the female on the left has a good size tail. These should produce some really good quality youngsters in the new year. More pictures can be seen on my other website www.fantaildoves.co.uk

Offspring from my pair No2

After a cruel winter and a few bad hawk attacks it left my Dovecoe somewhat depleted.... My 2 breeding pairs are safe and sound and these 2 beauties are the offspirng from my pair No2... I am keeping these 2 as they are great birds and will pair up with a newly born pair from my breeding pair No1........ Young pairs available in the spring so if you want any and collect from Mansfield Notts, then hopefully come the spring I should be back to normal... HAWK=Nightmare :(

Great Tails and a Quiff on some !!!

2 x Young birds getting used to a dovecote in a homing net...... My birds are hatched in the dovecote, then allowed free flight for a week to strengthen their wings, then held in large aviary for just a few days until collected. This gives me time to treat them for worms, coccidiosis, canker etc, ensuring you get really healthy birds...
The birds are exhibition garden fantailed doves, giving the ideal beautiful bird for any garden dovecote or aviary. They fly really well and have superb permanently erect tails. Slightly smaller than the usual garden fantails and much nicer tail. Black eyes of a real dove and tame really well with regular contact.
